The great need for Christian service in Japan takes Margaret and Harold to Okinawa.

Serving Nago and the people of Northern Okinawa...
Many Facets to Mission Posted October 4, 2002.
Rural health care in Northern Okinawa was virtually non-existant so an immediate need was for the establishment of a mobile hospital.
Church Building Posted October 4, 2002.
Only one per-war church building could be used immediately following the Battle of Okinawa. Building churches for Worship was also a need.
Injustice Posted December 8, 2002.
Harold and Margaret witness the U.S. Army confiscate Okinawan homes farms at gunpoint-- and watch as buildings are bulldozed or burned, and as crops are torched.
Yaeyama Posted December 8, 2002.
After five years, Margaret and Harold were transferred to the southernmost Okinawan islands of Yaeyama.
On to Japan Posted December 8, 2002.
In 1967, Harold and Margaret's ministry moved to Japan...
