| Ministries... Rev. Don G. Sperber was admitted to the Rocky Mountain Conference (RMC) of the United Methodist Church (UMC) as a trial member in 1960. Rev. Sperber was received into full membership in 1962. On June 15, 1962, Rev. Sperber transferred to the South Dakota Conference. Don pastored one congregation in Aberdeen before returning to the RMC on June 1, 1965. Rev. Sperber has served as Senior Pastor to nine Colorado congregations from 1965 through 2003. Sperber also served as the Minister of Youth at First UMC in Colorado Springs for two years, and he has served as a Project Assistant to the Bishop (1987). Rev.
