Golden's First United Methodist Church- then known as Golden's Methodist Episcopal Church- celebrated the dedication of a new church facility on July 26, 1903!

The Rev. William D. Phifer, D.D., Presiding Elder of the District, was in charge of events for the day.

Dr. W. J. King led the 6:00 am Sunrise Prayer Meeting.

The 10:30 Preaching Service featured music by the Denver Y.M.C.A. Quartette and a sermon by Bishop Rev. Henry White Warren, D.D.

Sunday school and the Children's Meeting followed at 2:30 pm that afternoon, with Charles McCall acting as Sunday School Superintendent.

Evening activities included a 6:30 pm Epworth League Devotional Meeting and a 7:45 pm Preaching Service.

Chancellor Buchtel of the Colorado Seminary, which would become the University of Denver, gave the evening sermon. Bishop Warren and Rev. Phifer then reviewed the day, upon which the dedication took place.

The Rev. Horace B. Collins was pastor at Golden's Methodist Episcopal Church at this time. Collins served the Golden Methodist Church from July 1901 through July 1904.
